Car dvd systems

Are you ready for that long road trip this summer? You've got someone house-sitting for you, the dog is at the neighbor's, all the bags are packed, and you're just waiting on the kids to get buckled in for safety. Uh oh, wait. You didn't even think about it. You've got a 23 hour drive ahead of you with two little ones in the back seat. What are you going to do to amuse them? How will they stay entertained for an entire day and night of travel? This is actually a big issue. If you have children of your own, then you're probably familiar with what I'm talking about. I don't care if they're toddlers or in the sixth grade, they sure as heck won't like sitting in that back seat for hour upon hour. Fortunately there is a solution to this redundant dilemma, and it concerns the vehicle you're traveling in. I'm talking about car DVD systems. Have you got one yet?

Are you familiar with contemporary car DVD systems? No, I'm not referring to that retro television you have plugged into your cigarette lighter. I'm talking about compact, state of the art car DVD systems. In many vehicles these comes as an added feature. In fact, you've probably encountered one or two while car shopping in the past. I know when the wife and I went out browsing for mini-vans, car DVD systems were rather prominent. And that was back in 2001. I thought it was so cool how they basically worked as a flip down screen for the rear passengers. Of course the driver can't view the film. We don't want any absurd accidents. Typically car DVD systems can easily be controlled from the dash where the radio controls are located. This way the folks can pop in a flick and the little ones can remain engrossed in a good cartoon or family film until the destination is in sight. Obviously the sound flows through the car speakers so that all is heard by everyone.
